This is one of my very few posts in English, as a courtesy to my one bud over in Idaho! 🙂
When it comes to music, I’ve mentioned once or twice that rock n’ roll is my home town. I’ve also mentioned how I try to keep an open mind (it’s not easy) and how I’ve come out of the closet a couple of times, first by admitting to like the Eminem album Relapse and later when I fell in love with the electronic pop from La Roux.
I’ve talked about Mirah, too, whom I discovered through the television show «So You Think You Can Dance?»
Now, it’s time for me to come out yet again, and this time I’ve also bought an album based on a television series, Justified. By the way, the lead role in Justified is played by the fabulous Timothy Olyphant, who I first saw in the magnificent Deadwood.
Well, back to Justified and the title song of the show, … by Gangstagrass. Yep, it’s just what it says…gangsta…grass…weird but very cool.
It seems my time spent enjoying some Eminem, and the complete crush on «I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow» (from the great movie «O Brother, Where Art Thou?«) a few years ago (followed by Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Sessions) has now merged into something new, and it’s right down my alley…my alley of rock n’ roll… … …
